About Us
The Yatheem Fund was established in the year 1983 with the noble objective of taking care of orphan families who hesitate to send ther children to orphanages despite difficulties. The Yatheem Fund is the first organization who headed a uniqe patter of bringing up the orphan childern in their own home and by providing houses to them under the protective wings of their mothers and guardians.
Yatheem Fund is a non political organisation and an exclusive organisation to take care of orphans and widows who are restrained in their houses because of their modesty and self respect.
Yatheem Fund already registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 1976 (FCRA).
Yatheem Fund established in the year 1983 was registered under the Society Registration Act as per Reg No. 374/85
Yatheem Fund is a member of Kerala State Muslim Orphanage of Co-ordination Committee (KSMOCC)
Our yearly expense is around Rs.1.50 Crores (One crore fifty lakhs) per year. A well wisher has donated a 4 storied building which generates an income of Rs.7,20,000/- per year.
As we get more applications, our aim is to start an Educational Institution and a Job oriented training centre for the orphans.
We have a scheme for the people who wish to adopt orphan families.
One child family expens will come approximate Rs.2500/-

Services
Providing Education, Cloths, Marriage, House Construction, House Repair to the orphans
Education
We give much importance in the field of education. We provide necessary books, umbrella, uniforms and school fees. For students studying standard 8th and above, we provide financial help for tuition also. One of our boys has completed MBA and is working abroad. also one of our girl completed LLB course and other girls completed MBBS. Many other children are studding for Degree course, post gradutes course, B-Tech engineering, B-ed, B-Pharm etc courses.
Medical
We spend a substantial amount for medical treatment of orphan families. We take care of many cases which requires continuous treatment and surgery. Moreover we arrange free medical treatment from other organisations also.
Home Repair
Many families are staying in a very miserable situation and their houses are in dilapidated condition and require urgent repair work. We provide help for such repair work. There are some houses which do not have water, well or latrine facilities. We are proud that in many cases we could help to solve such problems.
We spend around IRS 48 Lakhs every year for this purpose.
House Constuction
There are many families who find difficult to arrange their girl's marriage because they do not own a house. To help such families we have acquired 3 acres of land at Calicut to construct house. We have already constructed 54 houses at Calicut Arakkinar site (Abdu Barami housing Colony) and 41 (fourty one) houses are constructed at our Odumbra site (N Ummer Koya Housing Colony) and another 10 houses constructed various places in Calicut. Total 118 houses constructed so far.
Source of Income
As mentioned before we spend around IRS 1.50 crores every year. As we are dealing with a highly responsible job we should have a steady income without interruptions. We are trying our level best to have such income. Our main source of income is from charities inthe form of zakath, sadaka,subscriptions etc.
We have a scheme for the people who wish to adopt orphan families. Some international organisations have recognised our activities and have adopted some children.

With the immense blessings of AIIah, we are grateful to inform you about the commendable work being carried out by Yatheem Fund and the significant impact it has had on the lives of orphaned children. Through the generous support of the community, we have beeft able to provide shelter and necessary assistance to 850 orphaned children from 480 families, enabling them to live in the comfort of their own homes. The exceptional work carried out by our organization has been widely recognized and accepted by society.
We are pleased to share that the requests and needs of orphaned families are being met in a timely manner, thanks to the funds we have received.
We give utmost priority to eligible requests and strive to address them promptly.
It is with much gratitude that we acknowledge the increasing expenses incurred by Yatheem Fund as our activities expand. However, we are concerned about potential government regulations and constraints that may impact the flow of donations,thus affecting our ability to continue our vital work.
We have prepared a plan for the future running of the organization, which will increase the regular income.
Vatheem Fund currently occupies four out of the nine floors of a building located in the Medical coHege area. To better cater to the growing needs of our organization, we aim to acquire the remaining five floors. The monthly income generated from this building amounts to iNR 135,000.
Additionally, we would like to emphasize that the Medical College area offers ample opportunities for renting out these extra floors,further contributing to our financial sustainability.
To fulfill our vision, we estimate a total requirement of lNR 2 crore for this project. We strongly believe that, with your generous contribution, together we can make a lasting impact on the lives of these deserving children.
